The PGP Receives Grant from New Jersey Council for the Humanities

The PGP’s College Bridge program has been awarded an Action Grant by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities. The grant will allow us to expand the humanities-based College Bridge program in New Jersey to additional facilities. The College Bridge program offers incarcerated and formerly incarcerated learners a humanities-rich course that prepares them for the literacy and critical thinking requirements of college-level coursework. This preparation is especially important as access to Pell Grants, which fund postsecondary education, is being restored for incarcerated learners.
